It’s difficult to sum up a company’s culture in words. Not only difficult, but scary when arguably the most important thing about a company is also the hardest thing to define. Our identity is all about big, world-changing ideas executed by people who absolutely love working together, and so, is necessarily fun.
So, until we gather all the cool trendy startup shots of us doing startup stuff, and until we find the time to make a vine montage of us doing quirky shit, we thought some of our internal principles (holy cow we’re beginning to sound corporate!) might be a good inside look about how it is to work here.
TAKE YOUR IDEAS SERIOUSLY, NOT YOURSELF
Nothing great happens when you’re worrying how you look to everyone else. Trust each other. Try everything, be weird, start wide and winnow, fail early.
THE BEST IDEA WINS
Not the best person for the job, and definitely not the highest paid person. It’s the purest form of intellectual egalitarianism we can think of.
PRETEND YOUR KIDS WILL WORK HERE
What kind of place would you like your kids to work in? What would the environment be? Everything you do that makes Qriously a better place for your kids is a good thing for us all now.
