Enroll America is a nonprofit focused on increasing the number of Americans who sign up for health insurance. They partnered with Qriously to drive drive sign ups from those who were still uninsured.
By asking mobile app users “Why do you not have health insurance?,” and offering as possible answers “Cost,” “Complicated,” and “Lack Info,” Qriously found over 53,000 people who offered one of those answers. When they answered, they were shown a banner ad for Enroll America.
On average, 40.9% of consumers exposed to Enroll America creative went on to click the banner at least once. Brand study results showed an absolute increase in intent to apply for health insurance of Δ7.8 (relative increase or lift of 43.6%) compared to a statistically similar control population.
“Qriously offered us a novel way to find our prospective customers — in this case, uninsured Americans. We’re pleased that the campaign found so many, and that brand tests showed that the campaign outperformed its goal of increasing people’s intent to buy health insurance.”
